Ladies' Monthly Scramble

This Thursday (4/23) at 6pm. Please sign up in the pro shop, or call 923-5222 by noon on Wednesday. This is a 4 lady scramble, and it will be followed by the first LLGA meeting of the year. We look forward to seeing you there!

Couples' Scramble

Come out and join us for the first 2009 couples' four-person scramble, 6:00 pm, Fri, 24 Apr. the cost is $30 per couple (includes cart and green fee). The scramble will be handicapped, so everyone has an opportunity to do well! There will also be a $10 per person buffet (includes tax and tip) afterwards, so plan to hang around and get to know some of the newer members and catch up with others you already know! Please sign up through the Pro Shop by either coming in person or calling and asking to be listed on the signup sheet. See you Friday night!

Ladies' Play Days and Golf Clinic Details

It's that time already, believe it or not. Ladies' Thursday Play begins this week:

Thursday, April 2nd

Morning Play -- 8:30-9am

Afternoon Play -- 5:30-6pm


Also, don't forget about the April Ladies' Clinic taught by Bill Goggin:

- April 14-16, (Tues.-Thurs.).
- 9:30-11:00 am or 5:30-7:00 pm
- Cost $75, Landings members $65
- Wine and cheese social will follow the event Thursday evening. (no extra charge)
- Designed for beginning and intermediate players
- Emphasis on putting, chipping, and full swing.
- Fun and Fundamentals gauranteed
- Clubs provided

LLGA March Info!

Are you a woman over the age of 16? Do you have even the slightest interest in golf or learning to golf? Then you’re encouraged to check us out – golfers of all levels are welcome!


The Landings Ladies’ Golf Association is starting its 2009 Season in April. We have several events planned and would like to invite all women over the age of 16 to attend any and all sessions to find out what we’re all about.


The first event is March 12th at 4:00 pm for a walking clinic where we will walk a few holes with Bill Goggin to learn some of the finer points of rules, etiquette, etc. Afterwards, we’ll gather to share information and snacks.


The next event is a general membership business meeting, including current and new members, to review a revised set of by-laws and operating rules to be used for this year. We will meet on March 29th at 4:00 pm in the Landings’ clubhouse.


The third group event will occur the evening of April 16th after Bill Goggin's three-day Ladies’ clinic. We’ll have a Wine and Cheese party to celebrate and be available to answer any questions regarding the LLGA.
