LLGA Minutes – 26 May 2011
Meeting commenced at 7:55pm with all officers present. Claire Thompson presided.

Minutes from the April meeting read by Michelle Hartman.
Scholarship Committee report was presented by Ann Bailey. Scholarship packages were delivered to all local high schools with deadlines set for 4 March. No applications were submitted.
• Discussion about validity of scholarship criteria
• Suggestion to table and refine criteria so more students apply
• Package given to Claire Thompson
Weekly Play report presented by June Taylor.
• Scramble results
• Payout will be suspended until June’s meeting as budget will then be finalized
• Deadline to sign up for GHIN is 7/1 or member is ineligible to win any LLGA prizes
Ways and Means
• Lowe’s 4 ball will be held June 4th and 5th. Jane James and Billie Gibson volunteered to run 50/50 table on Saturday before the tournament – 12:30pm
Match Play will begin 7/1.
Budget report presented by Treasurer, Adrienne Taylor:
• Payouts back to amounts last season.
• Contribution to Ladies’ Mix Up Scramble reduced to $250.
• Budget approved

• 6/23 June scramble and meeting
• 6/25 Ladies’ Mix Up Scramble
o Discussion about format
o Handicap gap
o Members volunteered to get the word out
o Need 40 people to keep tournament alive
o Donations encouraged for continental breakfast
o 6/20 deadline for registration
• 50/50 awarded to Michelle Hartman
